Vigilant Technology provides web based information systems called Enterprise Applications and associated Services giving many Advantages to Small Business.
Every business today uses some kind of information. Often this information is stored away on someone's desktop or on the file server. People within the business need to access that information and need to be sure they have the latest information.
Storing this information on a web site can be very useful as everyone interested in this information knows where to find it. Now we know this is fine for static information, that is information that does not change but what happens when you have changing information? You might keep your contact list in your email client and also keep a list on the web site. You might also have a small database on MSAccess to keep track of orders or products and also want these on the web site. These are never in synch.
This is where Enterprise Applications come in because they offer the centrality and access of typical web sites yet also offer the ability to display dynamic data as it changes in the database. So when you change your email address in the Enterprise application and some looks you up on the web site they get your new address.
